How it works
Privacy and ownership
One folder holds your whole vault, Orbital holds no login for any other site, and one archive takes all of it away.
- One folder per vault. Records, feed, ledgers, libraries and backups. Nothing of yours lives outside it but your account row.
- No credential for a source, ever. No cookie jar, no session, no browser profile of its own: your browser signs in, and the vault is handed links — see capture.
- Out whole, any time. One archive that imports straight back into any vault — see take it with you.
- Nothing watching. No analytics, no crash reporter, no third-party asset on any page — including this one.
A hosted vault records the token count of a model call and not the question text, and files a read under a site and its first path segment rather than the full address.
