Save from your phone or browser
Send links to your vault from your phone or browser.
In short
- Your phone sends links. Pair it once.
- Your browser sends posts. One click per post; Orbital never stores a password for a site.
- What your phone sends lands on the task board (◫ in the feed bar). ▶ runs it now, ✓ keeps it as a Todo, ✕ discards it.
How to send from your phone
- On your computer, open ⚙ Settings ▸ Phone capture and press Switch on if it is off. It shows the address to type on the phone, and whether pairing is open.
- On the phone, open that address followed by /phone/app and add it to the home screen.
- Pair once. The phone keeps a token, never your password.
- Share a link or a note from any app.
How to send from your browser
- Install the extension. ⚙ Settings ▸ Browser capture, then Download. Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
- Open the post in a tab where you are signed in.
- Click the extension's button on the post. Only that click sends anything. The post then appears in your vault.
